Today I heard the Arcade Fire’s “No Cars Go,” which reminded me of the times we have covered it at the religious gathering I have the privilege to serve. When addressing the Kingdom of God – a big idea, of course – we have sought to use different songs that explicate the importance of the Kingdom, as opposed to our kingdoms, churches, nations, etc. I’ve never been a huge U2 fan, but we’ve used “Where the Streets Have No Names,” as well.

I think we covered “No Cars Go” while we partook of communion. It’s perfect, really:
